She Received Communion… Then Died of Love | The Miracle of Blessed Imelda Lambertini
What if a child loved the Eucharist so deeply that heaven answered?
Blessed Imelda Lambertini is one of the most beautiful Eucharistic figures in Catholic history. Born into a noble family in Bologna, she entered religious life as a young girl with one desire above all others: to receive Jesus in Holy Communion.
But at that time, children were often told they were too young to receive. Imelda waited, prayed, and longed for Christ with a love that astonished the nuns around her.
Then, on the Vigil of the Ascension, something extraordinary happened. After Mass, a consecrated Host was seen suspended in the air above her. The priest recognized the sign and gave Imelda her First Holy Communion. Overwhelmed with divine love, she entered into prayer… and peacefully died soon after receiving Jesus.
Her story became one of the most powerful witnesses to the Real Presence and the burning love a soul can have for the Eucharist.
In this episode, we explore the life of Blessed Imelda Lambertini, her longing for Holy Communion, the miracle that marked her final moments, and why she remains the patroness of First Communicants.
Watch now and discover the child whose love for the Eucharist still moves hearts today.
