A Buddhist Monk Sent Him Back to Jesus… The True Story That Shocked Me

Have you ever wondered how God can use the most unexpected people and circumstances to lead someone back to Christ?

In this video I share two unforgettable stories that left a lasting impact on my faith.

The first is a vivid dream about a young boy named Hector, a roaring lion, and a desperate race toward the safety of the Church. The dream ended with the powerful warning of 1 Peter 5:8: "Be sober and vigilant. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour." It is a reminder that wandering away from Christ and His Church leaves us spiritually vulnerable.

The second story is completely true. A young Catholic man abandoned everything to travel across the world to become a Buddhist monk. After a three-day climb into the mountains of India, he finally met a revered holy man. But instead of welcoming him into Buddhism, the monk prayed, handed him The Imitation of Christ by Thomas à Kempis, and told him:

"Your path is with Jesus Christ."

That unexpected encounter changed the course of his life forever.

These stories remind us that God can call us in surprising ways, but His invitation is always the same: remain close to Christ, seek Him with your whole heart, and trust Him wherever He leads.
